Air-conditioning systems at airports
The airport is the first impression of the city for guests and the first place where the host appears. The airport air conditioning system basically uses the best configuration in the local area at that time, and the airport air conditioning system demonstrates the owner's strength and the level of air conditioning designers.
In the air conditioning systems of large airports in developed countries, the common configuration of air filters is: G4~F6 pre filters → activated carbon filters → F7 end filters.
F7 end filters
F7 air filters are the most common filters in upmarket public places. After passing through the F7 filter, the dust concentration in the air can reach the level of tourist attractions. The upper limit for the concentration of inhalable particulate matter in waiting halls is generally set at 0.15mg/m3. This is the minimum requirement from a health perspective, and this concentration is equivalent to level 2 of atmospheric pollution. In design, airport air conditioning considers grade rather than just health. In addition, if the interior of the terminal building is required to be as good as new for many years, the choice of F7 filters should be considered in the design.
Activated carbon filters
The airport has a smell of gasoline, although most guests won't complain, the owner still needs to conceal it. Therefore, activated carbon air filters that eliminate odors have become a standard configuration in airport air conditioning in developed countries. If air filters are a luxury item in air conditioning, then activated carbon air filters are the ultimate, testing the strength of airport investors and operators.
G4~F6 pre filters
The function of the pre filter is to protect the air conditioning system and extend the service life of the end filter. If one pre filter is not enough, two can be set. If a long service life of the pre filter is required, a filter with a larger filtration area can be selected. As long as the filtration efficiency is reasonable, there are not many special requirements for the selection of pre filters, only that they have sufficient service life, easy replacement, convenient supply, and cheap price.
