Introduction:
Clean rooms with clean class 1000 (FS209E standard) or ISO6 or above usually adopt FFU layout, and local purified environments or clean cabinets, clean benches, etc. are usually realised with FFU. FFU is a kind of air filtration system with its own fan.

The basic construction of the FFU:
1.Housing: its material is commonly used galvanised aluminium alloy coated steel, aluminium alloy, or stainless steel. The role of one is to support the fan and wind guide ring, the second is to support the deflector;
2. Deflector: airflow equalisation device, built into the interior of the box, below the fan around;
3. Pre-filter. Prevents possible damage to the HEPA filter from debris generated by construction, maintenance, or other conditions.
4. EC motor. Low energy consumption, lower cost in the long run.
5. Airflow equalisation device. Adjust the outlet airflow of FFU to improve the airflow distribution in the clean area.
6. Mini pleat HEPA filter. Used to capture particles around 0.3 micron dust and various suspended matters.
