Gel Seal ULPA Air Filter

Introduction:

Gel Seal ULPA Air Filter is a kind of mini-pleated filter, which mainly adopts ultra-fine glass fibre filter paper as the filter material, the spacer line in the middle is made of high-quality hot-melt adhesive, and the external structural frame is usually made of aluminium profiles, with a variety of thicknesses to choose from.

The core part of the Gel Seal ULPA Air Filter is the ultra-fine glass fibre filter paper, which has a very high filtration efficiency. When air containing particles and microorganisms passes through the filter paper, the tiny pores on the paper can effectively intercept these particles and microorganisms, thus achieving air purification. In addition, the Gel Seal ULPA Air Filter is sealed with jelly adhesive, which is an elastic gel after curing, and can create an airtight, impermeable seal in the aluminium channel, ensuring the integrity of the filter.

Common dimensions:

Differences between gel seal filters and traditional mini-pleated filters:

• Appearance. Gel Seal Air Filters have an additional liquid tank edge than mini pleated filters.

• The filter area is different. In the case that both are of the same size, the Gel Seal ULPA Air Filter has a smaller filtration area because it carries a liquid tank rim around it.

• The seals are not the same. Mini pleated filters are sealed between the air inlet or outlet side of the sealing strip and the box, while gel seal filters are sealed between the liquid tank side of the adhesive and the box.

• Prices vary. As the Gel Seal Air Filter has an extra liquid tank edge and the injected liquid tank adhesive is a costly raw material, so the price of this type of filter will be higher than the ordinary mini pleated filter.

Installation:

• The direction of airflow should be the same as the direction of the arrow on the frame.

• When installing, the filter should be held gently and put down lightly, no tools should be used to knock and hit, and it is strictly prohibited to touch the filter paper with hands or tools to prevent damage to the filter material and sealant.
