Styles of Medium Efficiency Filters
The medium efficiency filter is a key component in air filtration systems, mainly used to intercept particles of 1-5 μ m (such as dust, pollen, bacteria, etc.).
It is often used as a transition between the primary efficiency filter and the high-efficiency filter (HEPA/ULPA), protecting high-precision equipment in the backend and improving overall filtration efficiency.

Medium efficiency bag filter is a structure that combines a filter bag and an outer frame. The outer frame can usually be selected from ABS plastic frame, galvanized frame, and aluminum alloy frame. The filter bag is usually made of synthetic fiber material, but there are also occasions where fiberglass material is required.
The depth and quantity of the bags can be customized according to customer requirements, but consideration should be given to the overall size limitations of the product.

Mini pleated air filters can be made by combining metal frames or paper frames with synthetic fiber or fiberglass filter media.
Due to the fact that filter paper is folded into small folds, in most cases we refer to it as a mini pleated type.
3.Deep pleat air filter

Deep pleat air filter, also known as a separator air filter. Its internal structure is composed of alternating combinations of filter paper and partitions. According to customer requirements, aluminum partitions or paper partitions can be selected.
V bank filter, also known as V cell filter, as its name suggests, consists of several V-shaped modules in its overall structure. The filter material can be made of PP or fiberglass, and the outer frame is usually made of ABS plastic or galvanized frame.

Medium efficiency filter filtration grade standard
For industrial air filters, the two most common standards are EN779 and ISO16890. Please refer to the table below for details
Filter class according to EN 779 | ISO ePM1 | ISO ePM2.5 | ISO ePM10 |
M5 | < 20% | < 40% | > 50% |
M6 | < 40% | 50 – 60% | > 60% |
F7 | 50 – 75% | > 70% | > 80% |
F8 | 70 – 85% | > 80% | > 90% |
F9 | > 85% | > 90% | > 95% |
